A well‑established Not for Profit with multi‑year funding cycles and strong government partnerships is seeking an experienced Head of Finance & Corporate Services for an initial 6‑month day‑rate contract. This senior leadership role oversees finance, governance, risk, HR governance and corporate services in a complex environment. Your new role

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board, you will provide high‑level financial leadership, governance oversight, and organisational stewardship. This role suits an executive who thrives in purpose‑driven settings with strong expectations around compliance, transparency, and long‑term sustainability. Key Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and multi‑year planning Provide financial insights, scenario modelling and decision support Serve as Company Secretary and maintain high governance standards Oversee statutory reporting, regulatory lodgements and external audits Lead enterprise risk management and the internal control environment Deliver insightful management reporting and performance analysis Oversee corporate systems, processes and operational governance Provide HR, IR, remuneration and workforce governance leadership Support WHS governance and ensure safe organisational practices What you’ll need to succeed

Demonstrated senior financial leadership experience within a publicly funded organisation Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, treasury and statutory reporting Proven ability to act as Company Secretary with a sound understanding of statutory governance obligations Deep understanding of risk management, internal controls and compliance frameworks High level of professional judgment, discretion and integrity What you’ll get in return
