As the first dedicated Security hire, you will own security initiatives, working independently without a team of seniors. Collaborate with IT Ops, Cloud Engineering, Security, and DevOps teams, taking proactive ownership of security tasks. Enhance security posture through tool selection, implementation, monitoring, compliance, and internal advocacy—covering the full spectrum from SIEM alerts to automation and project collaboration. 3–5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with prior SecOps background essential. Experience as a SysAdmin or similar role, understanding systems and infrastructure from the ground up. Familiarity with modern security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls. Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and explore new technologies.
