Job Description
Position Overview :
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Senior Product Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of a software product, from conception to delivery and beyond. The Senior Product Manager defines the product strategy, sets goals, and prioritises features based on market needs and business objectives.
Senior Product Managers collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure the development aligns with the overall company vision. Additionally, they analyse market trends, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions to optimise the product's success in the market. The Senior Product Manager role has direct reporting and management responsibilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities :
Proactively develops an understanding of the company vision and strategy and overarching product objectives to provide context for planning and prioritisation.
Proactively develops an understanding of ELMO GTM and how we engage customers across the life-cycle (Acquire, Implement, Support & Engage, Value-Add and Retain).
Proactively develops product domain knowledge (T-shaped knowledge - deep in own product domain but also developing knowledge across adjacent solutions) including core features / functionality, market expectations, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
Establishes and maintains productive, professional working relationships with internal / external stakeholders.
Work with others to ensure the correct business problem is being solved; applying a high degree of strategic understanding and knowledge of the business systems (people, process, technology and organisation).
Consults with internal stakeholders in requirements gathering and development, and proactively keeps the business informed of project progress through forums including sprint reviews, portfolio wall, product committees and product showcase.
Facilitate effective roadmap discussion and invite challenges for areas of responsibility with key internal stakeholders.

Positional Qualifications, Attributes and Skills :
Proven experience (5+ years) in product management roles, with a track record of successfully bringing software products to market.
Leadership and team management skills.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field.
Strong commercial acumen including numeracy.
Demonstrated work experience of agile methodologies.
Ability to identify roadblocks and conflicts and work towards a resolution to keep the project on track.
Strong communication, presentation and listening skills.
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
