role at

Australia Latam Emerging Leaders Dialogue

The Australia Latam Emerging Leaders Dialogue (ALELD) is a not-for-profit, youth-led organisation established in 2018. Founded by Erin Watson and Borja Martel Seward, ALELD has grown to a current network of more than 40 volunteers across eight countries. In 2026, ALELD will appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to serve a 12-month term, with potential for a 12-month reappointment. The role is unpaid, has a time commitment of approximately 6-8 hours per week (varies) and will be shaped to reflect the strengths and experience of the selected candidate.

Our Vision In ALELD we envision a strong relationship between Australia and Latin America, where each region’s experiences, people, and knowledge cometogether to face global challenges and build a more sustainable, inclusive, and integrated world.
