Locum Senior Hospital Podiatrist - High Risk Foot clinic

Overview Experienced Podiatrist required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff and cover a mixed caseload including high risk feet, diabetes assessment, and a renal dialysis unit.

Locum rates from $80-$86 per hour + superannuation

Responsibilities

Deliver high level podiatry clinical skills, including assessment, treatment, examination, podiatry diagnosis and case management within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards for patients with chronic disease and high risk feet such as amputations, foot ulcerations, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and gross foot deformities.

Work within a young and dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team of approx. 45 clinicians.

Engage in team activities such as weekend adventures, camping, rodeos, and local events (optional).

Enjoy local amenities such as gyms, yoga studio, and lake activities (paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming, or boating).

Explore the region's outback activities like 4 wheel driving, camping, fishing, and hiking.

Qualifications

Minimum of four years experience as a Podiatrist.

Relevant skill set in high risk feet care.
