Senior Legal Counsel/Projects – Sydney Global Organisation Hybrid – Competitive Salary About the role

A leading global organisation with a focus on large scale projects is currently seeking an experienced senior legal counsel to join it’s In-House team. This role will report directly to the General Counsel, whilst also supporting the commercial manager. You will be responsible for managing dipsutes and projects in delivery alongside complex construction contracts. Key responsibilities:

Providing advice to business units and senior management on significant legal issues and representing the company’s interests on large scale projects and their associated contracts Ownership and responsibility for the legal service of significant projects Managing material disputes and claims Advising the business on contractual and commercial risks relating to tender projects Advisingon contract disputes and resolution strategies. Key Requirements:

Ideally 6-10 years PQE gained within a renowned In-House organisation or private practice firm. Previous exposure to a variety of major projects within the construction sector Demonstrated experience in managing complex construction contracts and disputes Strong negotiation and project management skills Excellent relationship building skills This is a great opportunity to join a strong in-house legal team with great career development opportunities.
