Locum Senior Hospital Podiatrist

Mid December/early January for 8 weeks High risk feet, diabetes assessment, renal dialysis unit North QLD location flights & accommodation provided

Required Experienced Podiatrist required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff and cover a mixed caseload including:

High risk feet - deliver high level podiatry clinical skills, including assessment, treatment, examination, podiatry diagnosis and case management within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards for patients with chronic disease and high risk feet such as amputations, foot ulcerations, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and gross foot deformities. Locum rates from $80-$85 per hour + superannuation FREE accommodation available One way travel reimbursed up to $1000 including GST

You Ll be working amongst the young and dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team of approx. 45 clinicians. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join. They have a few gyms in town including a yoga studio, and there is a large lake nearby for paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming, or boating.

You must be an experienced Podiatrist with the relevant skill set. A minimum of four years experience is required.

This region offers a real insight into Outback Australia, with a wide range of places to enjoy 4 wheel driving, camping, fishing and hiking. A great location for any intrepid explorer!
