Role Highlights:
Reporting to the CFO, this role leads the financial reporting function across a multi-entity structure. You will take accountability for month‑end and year‑end reporting, statutory compliance, and external audit management, while strengthening internal controls and supporting executive decision‑making through high‑quality analysis and insight.

Responsibilities
Lead monthly management reporting, board reporting, and executive commentary
Prepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS
Manage the external audit process, including planning, coordination, and issue resolution
Oversee technical accounting matters and ensure compliance with relevant standards
Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and reporting processes
Lead the annual budgeting process and support forecasting and financial modelling
Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and performance analysis
Manage and develop financial accounting team members
Drive continuous improvement across reporting systems and workflows
Candidate Profile
You are CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting capability and experience in financial reporting and statutory compliance.
You may have developed your career within a mid- to large‑sized commercial organisation where you have taken ownership of the reporting cycle and audit process. Alternatively, you may currently be operating at Manager or Senior Manager level within a Big 4 or mid‑tier audit firm and seeking a move into industry.
You bring sound knowledge of AASB and IFRS, experience managing complex reporting requirements, and the ability to lead audit processes with confidence and authority. Exposure to multi‑entity or group reporting environments will be highly regarded.
