Executive General Manager – University Partnerships Australasia – Navitas Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of higher education pathways? Navitas, a global leader in education, is seeking an Executive General Manager (EGM) to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across our University Partnerships Australasia division.

As EGM, you will be at the forefront of a dynamic sector, leading a diverse portfolio and collaborating with senior leaders, university partners, and college directors. Your mission: to advance Navitas’s reputation as the partner of choice for universities, delivering innovative solutions and exceptional outcomes for students, staff, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans focused on enrolment growth, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement, both domestically and internationally.

Build and nurture influential relationships with Vice Chancellors, Deputy Vice Chancellors, university boards, and key industry bodies.

Represent Navitas at university boards, conferences, and as a panel member, championing our vision and values.

Guide and mentor College Directors, fostering a collegiate culture at the executive level while constructively navigating competitive dynamics.

Drive operational excellence, ensuring compliance, quality, and value-driven cost-effective management of resources in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Lead with resilience and innovation, constructively challenging the status quo and providing clear direction for change.

About You

You bring a global perspective and experience working in matrixed, distributed organisations, preferably within Australasia.

Education sector experience is advantageous but not essential; a start‑up mentality and hands‑on approach are highly valued.

You are a strategic thinker, an outstanding communicator, and a proven leader who thrives in complexity and can independently manage multiple responsibilities.

You excel at building stakeholder relationships, influencing outcomes, and driving performance in organisations undergoing significant change.

You demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and financial sustainability while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
