Our client is a niche resources services business specialising in the rental, deployment and maintenance of infrastructure assets across Australian mine sites.

The Position The Chief Financial Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company and supporting the CEO and Board to drive sustainable growth.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:

Leading the financial functions and strengthening systems, processes and internal controls.

Providing commercial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, treasury and financial reporting.

Managing ASX reporting, statutory compliance and Company Secretary duties.

Supporting M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integrations.

Driving a performance-oriented culture, lifting financial acumen across the company.

Managing relationships with external audit, tax, banking and insurance partners.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and commercially focused finance executive who brings both strategic capability and a hands‑on approach. You will thrive in dynamic environments, be confident influencing decision‑makers and can balance long‑term thinking with operational execution.

Additionally, you will demonstrate:

Proven experience operating at executive leadership team level.

A record of driving financial strategy, governance and organisational performance.

Strong capability finance, accounting, risk and corporate reporting.

Experience in M&A, financial due diligence and capital structuring.

The ability to build capability, coach teams and uplift organisational culture and accountability.

Excellent communication, judgement and stakeholder engagement skills.

CA/CPA qualifications (ASX and Company Secretary experience will be highly regarded).
