As we continue to scale nationally, we are seeking a commercially astute, strategic Senior HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across hospital operations and corporate functions. This is a high‑impact role focused on embedding and sustaining AEA's People Strategy across designated hospital groups and business operations functions. This is not a transactional HR role.

Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership

Translate business strategy into actionable people plans.

Partner with Regional Operating Managers and hospital leadership teams.

Forecast and plan workforce capability aligned to growth strategy.

Identify and proactively solve emerging people risks.

Leadership & Talent Development

Support development of emerging leaders and critical talent.

Coach leaders in performance, capability and complex employment matters.

Strengthen leadership pipelines and succession planning.

Commercial & Organisational Impact

Provide expert remuneration and employment advice.

Support organisational design and change initiatives.

Lead People Strategy projects aligned to national expansion.

Drive best practice across the People & Culture function.

Culture & Experience

Embed AEA values across clinical and corporate environments.

Foster a strong coaching and accountability culture.

Contribute to a constructive, high‑performance environment.

What you bring

Significant experience in strategic HR Business Partner roles.

Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships at senior leadership level.

Strong commercial acumen – you understand how people strategy drives revenue, risk mitigation and growth.

Experience in workforce planning, talent management and organisational design.

Confidence managing complex employment and case matters.

High emotional intelligence and coaching capability.

Ability to influence across clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders.

Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related discipline (desirable).

Healthcare, veterinary, or multi‑site operational experience will be highly regarded.
