Principal Information Analyst - Procurement Capability Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Period: 1 December 2025 to 30 June 2026 (temporary opportunity)

The Procurement and Facilities Services Branch is seeking a highly motivated Principal Information Analyst to join our Procurement Capability team. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and leading the implementation of system and analytical initiatives. You will participate in activities related to the implementation of Queensland Procurement Solution, the Whole‑of‑Government contract management system, and a range of supporting activities within the team.

The Perfect Candidate for this Role Those with an analytical mindset who can translate ideas into concepts to assist leadership with prioritisation, and anyone with an understanding of or willingness to learn modern reporting and analytical software such as Power BI and Qlik Sense, or service management software like ServiceNow.

Your Responsibilities

Develop reporting solutions using Qlik Sense and Power BI.

Collaborate with purchasing teams to identify pain points and devise innovative solutions.

Participate in government‑led procurement initiatives aligned to Queensland Procurement Policy.

Work with system analysts to implement core system changes to SAP and Agresso.

Document requirements for system enhancements.
