Travel Medicine Doctor Sessions

Are you interested in Travellers Medicine? Want to get away from General practice?

Our area is Preventative medicine : Pre and post Travel medicine : immunisations and occupational travel health

We are a full time travel medicine clinic - often seeing the more complicated travel patients.

We give the usual vaccines : Routine vaccines of course plus Yellow fever, Rabies, JE, BCG

Also the less common vaccines eg Tick Encephalitis, Dengue, Q fever

Our doctors perform medical assessments on travellers being posted internationally with large company and government organisations, to offshore oil and gas platforms, to high altitude mines etc etc

35 years. We are a systems based operation with a happy team

At any one time we have two doctors, 3 Rn's and 3 admin staff on site, plus company liaison and practice manager

We have a low staff turnover but one of our doctors is moving interstate for family reasons

We need a doctor to work

2 days per week - ideally Monday and Thursday starting May

Post graduate qualifications in travel medicine preferred but can be underway

Extensive Training provided

Travel experience to remote areas an advantage

Remuneration 65% of Private billing
