Job Description
Join a leading global advisory firm recognised for independent, conflict-free advice on some of the most complex and strategically significant transactions in the market. The firm advises boards, shareholders, and institutions on high-stakes decisions, with a long-standing reputation for discretion, intellectual rigour, and execution excellence.
With a strong and growing Australian presence and deep connectivity into global markets, the platform advises on landmark M&A, defence, restructuring, and capital solutions across sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, industrials, consumer, and financial services. Client relationships are long-term, senior-led, and built on trust rather than transaction volume.
This role is suited to an experienced Analyst or Junior Associate seeking early responsibility, direct exposure to senior bankers, and the opportunity to develop into a trusted adviser on complex, high-impact transactions.
What You’ll Do
Support the execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital-related mandates, including complex and cross-border transactions
Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuations, and analytical workstreams to support live mandates and client advice
Prepare high-quality client materials, including strategic analyses, transaction documentation, and board-level presentations
Manage key execution tasks across live deals, liaising with clients, counterparties, and external advisers under senior supervision
Conduct sector, company, and market analysis to support both live transactions and origination initiatives
Work closely with senior bankers to support negotiations, client meetings, and long-term relationship development
Review and coordinate analyst-level work where appropriate, maintaining high technical and presentation standards
What You’ll Bring
2–5 years’ experience in investment banking or top-tier corporate advisory
Demonstrated transaction exposure across M&A and/or complex advisory assignments
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capability
Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure in a demanding, high-expectation environment
Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline (CFA progression viewed favourably)
Why Join This Platform
Exposure to high-profile, market-defining advisory assignments
Genuine advisory-only model with no balance sheet conflicts
Close day-to-day interaction with senior bankers and clients
Collegiate, intellectually rigorous culture focused on quality of work
Clear development pathway from Analyst through Associate for strong performers
