About the Role As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will deliver high‑quality clinical care to paediatric and neonatal patients across the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing acute and chronic paediatric conditions including neonatal care

Providing clinical leadership and working with a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist

Contributing to clinical governance, policy, and service improvement

Supervising and mentoring junior doctors: Senior Registrar, Registrar, Residents, and Intern

Participating in an on‑call roster for emergency and neonatal care

About You You are a qualified Consultant Paediatrician who is:

Clinically experienced in general paediatrics, neonatology, and developmental care

A strong team player with leadership and teaching skills

Passionate about rural health and equity in care

Comfortable working in a culturally diverse setting, especially with Aboriginal
