Lead the Future of John Deere Sales in Australia
In this pivotal senior leadership role, you will set the strategic direction for RDO’s John Deere Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry sales operations across Australia. You’ll lead a high‑performing team, build strong OEM and stakeholder relationships, and drive the growth, capability, and performance of one of the most recognised brands in the industry. This role requires a commercially astute, people‑first leader who can blend strategy, execution, and culture to deliver strong financial results, exceptional customer experience, and sustainable long‑term growth for RDO Equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the General Manager John Deere Sales, you will:
Lead and execute sales & marketing strategy across Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry
Drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market share across all regions
Build and maintain strong OEM and key stakeholder relationships, representing RDO with professionalism
Oversee sales budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and performance management
Collaborate with Regional EGMs and senior leadership to deliver a consistent customer experience
Support capability development across sales teams, identifying gaps and driving targeted initiatives
Champion a safe, inclusive, values‑driven culture across the sales organisation
Lead continuous improvement, innovation, and long‑term strategic planning
What We’re Looking For
Someone who:
Brings extensive experience in high‑value capital equipment sales or related industries
Has deep knowledge of the Australian Agriculture or Construction & Forestry sectors
Has at least 5 years’ experience in senior/regional sales leadership roles
Demonstrates strong financial, commercial, and operational capability
Leads with integrity, empathy, and a people‑first mindset
Is solutions‑focused, accountable, and performance‑driven
Has exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
Holds relevant tertiary qualifications (highly desirable but not essential)
