The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Demand & Workforce Planning Analytics to join Crown Resorts and lead the transformation of workforce planning across our integrated resorts in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. This newly created team is crucial to the future strategic goal of making Crown a well‑run business. The role sits at the intersection of People, Operations and Analytics, as a Workforce Planning Centre of Excellence. You will design and govern long‑, medium‑ and short‑term forecasting, demand modelling, automation and analytics practices that uplift operational efficiency, labour cost optimisation and guest service outcomes. You will drive the adoption of advanced data platforms, AI‑enabled forecasting and automated data pipelines that replace manual processes and unlock enterprise‑wide insights.
Leading the enterprise demand planning strategy, building predictive models, implementing AI‑enabled workforce forecasting and automating data pipelines to deliver a single source of truth for workforce planning insights.
Designing and governing workforce planning frameworks, standards and forecasting processes, embedding compliance, labour‑law guardrails and best‑practice operating rhythms across all properties.
Driving technology, data and process uplift within the workforce planning function, defining requirements for future systems, championing automation and reducing reliance on spreadsheets and manual cycles.
Building strong partnerships with Finance, People & Culture, Operations, IT and property workforce planning teams to ensure aligned decision‑making, consistent practices and cohesive demand‑to‑supply planning across all states.
Leading and developing the Workforce Planning Centre of Excellence, uplifting analytical capability, coaching senior analysts and fostering an innovative, data‑driven culture.
About You
You are a strategic workforce planning leader with deep expertise in analytics, forecasting and operational modelling within complex, multi‑site environments. You bring the ability to translate data into commercial strategy, influence senior stakeholders and lead teams through transformation. You are energised by complexity, comfortable designing frameworks from the ground up and capable of disrupting legacy processes with scalable, automated solutions. You can shape insights, diagnose risk and create clarity for diverse stakeholders, delivering measurable improvement in labour efficiency and workforce performance.
A relevant degree (or equivalent capability) in analytics, data, statistics, business or a related discipline.
Extensive experience leading enterprise workforce forecasting or analytics functions in large, fast‑paced or regulated environments.
Strong capability in predictive workforce modelling, scenario analysis and automation of data pipelines and dashboards.
Experience working with workforce management systems, enterprise data platforms and AI‑enabled workforce forecasting tools.
Strong commercial acumen with a cost‑to‑serve mindset and the ability to influence OpEx decision‑making.
High proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python/R, BI platforms, Alteryx and workforce management systems.
