Job Description

About us We are Argon & Co, a global management consultancy specialising in operations strategy and transformation. With expertise spanning supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, finance, and shared services, we partner with clients to transform their businesses and deliver sustainable results.

With offices across Europe, Australasia, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East, we combine global capability with local expertise. Our culture is collaborative, inclusive, and focused on wellbeing. We empower our people to grow, contribute, and thrive.

About the role As a Lead Consultant, you will lead a team that works directly with clients to deliver impactful results.

In this role, you can expect to lead teams and oversee projects that:

Identify changes in people, processes, and technology to support effective strategy execution

Restructure operations in response to major market shifts

Enhance critical processes for improved efficiency

Plan and prepare the client’s workforce for the future

You will gain a deep understanding of the client’s strategy and the operational challenges impeding success, and work collaboratively to develop contemporary, tailored solutions. Once agreed, you may provide hands‑on support to our clients, guiding them through successful implementation.

To succeed, you’ll leverage a core consulting skillset that includes strategic thinking, analysis, facilitation, presentation, and relationship‑building. You’ll also apply strong project management skills to deliver results and mentor your team to achieve their best.

We are committed to developing our people, offering opportunities for professional and personal growth through structured training, collaboration, exposure to industry leaders, and hands‑on learning. With excellent growth prospects and career development opportunities, every team member is encouraged to contribute meaningfully to shared goals.

We offer flexible work arrangements, including part‑time and hybrid options.

There are multiple opportunities in our Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra offices. Some interstate travel may be required.

About you We are looking for people who want to make a real difference, those who see a problem, lean into it, and think creatively and critically to solve it.

Ideally, candidates will demonstrate:

5+ years of work experience in consulting

2+ years leading consulting projects

Tertiary degree

Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills

Relationship building skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong client connections

Highly developed communication and presentation skills

Adaptable and flexible approach

Strong project delivery experience and commercial mindset

We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about the role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.

What we offer

Flexible annual leave: 25 days of annual leave, ensuring you have the time to recharge and explore
