We have an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join our high performing Statutory Insurance Victoria team, working across the areas of common law, statutory benefits and recoveries matters in the workers’ compensation setting. The Statutory Insurance Victoria team – comprised of approximately 70 team members based in Melbourne – acts for a large number of employers in the management of workers' compensation claims and litigation and has a thriving recoveries practice. The successful candidate will manage and advise on a wide range of common law, statutory benefits or recoveries matters. The role will work closely with and learn from an experienced team of partners and senior lawyers and will have access to administrative support.
About You
2+ years’ post‑admission experience;
The ability to handle an active workload with competing timelines;
Clear, concise legal writing skills;
Strong attention to detail.
