Job Description Position: Solution Architect

As the Solution Design consultant / Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical and solution direction of maintenance-related technology initiatives. You will provide leadership across solution architecture, system design, and integration patterns to ensure robust, scalable, secure, and high performing applications—particularly in the development of Predictive Maintenance and Asset Health solutions.

You need to have a related qualification and should have demonstrated experience delivering or supporting enterprise technology initiatives in asset intensive environments. Your capabilities ideally include:

Technical & Domain Expertise

Strong technical acumen in application implementation and system integration for non ERP enterprise applications.

Domain knowledge in Asset Management within mining, manufacturing, or other asset intensive industries.

Experience in cloud architecture and engineering, preferably on Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Understanding of application architecture across frontend, backend, data layers, microservices, and modern design principles.

Expertise in designing system integrations using APIs, middleware, event streaming, or microservices patterns.

Exposure to advanced analytics platforms and technologies, including machine learning, SageMaker (or equivalent), Python, and SQL.

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure by design application patterns.

Experience or familiarity with enterprise AI solutions, including RAG architectures and in house AI model integration.

Familiarity with analytics and reporting platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, Power Apps, or equivalent.

Experience with real time event-driven workflow solutions is highly desirable.

In this role, you will:

Lead the end to end solution design for Maintenance Application project, ensuring alignment with client architectural standards.

Provide technical guidance across projects developing asset health and predictive maintenance capabilities.

Drive integration patterns and ensure consistent data flows across enterprise systems.

Partner with data, analytics, and other technology teams to operationalise models into production environments.

Ensure that solutions adhere to security, compliance, and reliability standards.

Contribute to roadmaps, design governance, and best practices for maintenance application solutions.

Support continuous improvement of our maintenance digital ecosystem through innovation and emerging technology adoption.
