General Manager- East Coast

About the role: Reporting to the Group Executive General Manager this is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the Group’s Operations in alignment with ISGroup’s strategic plan. You will drive operational excellence, safety, culture, growth and profitability across multiple business units, with a strong focus on long‑term relationships, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Provide visible leadership in safety, WHSEQ and risk management, ensuring a safe working environment and continuous reduction in incidents across the Group

Lead and manage Group operations to achieve agreed budgets, forecasts, productivity, efficiency and profitability outcomes

Develop, mentor and support business unit leaders, building capability, performance and a strong values‑driven culture

Oversee operational planning, resourcing, tendering and contract management to ensure commercial and technical excellence

Drive innovation, continuous improvement and strategic growth through technology adoption, best practice and new business opportunities

Key requirements:

Proven senior operations leadership experience within surveying, geospatial, engineering or a related technical services environment

Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing budgets, forecasts, profitability and operational performance

Extensive experience in safety, WHSEQ systems and compliance, ideally aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 standards

Ability to lead, influence and develop high‑performing management teams across multiple business units

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building long‑term client relationships and driving sustainable growth
