This privately owned Australian organisation (SME) provides shared and managed services to aged care providers, helping them remain sustainable, compliant and focused on delivering quality care. With strong demand and clear growth ambitions, we are seeking an experienced
Chief Financial Officer
to partner with the CEO and Board, to provide strategic financial leadership. This is a strategic, hands-on CFO role with responsibility not only for the Consultancy business but also for supporting the financial strength and governance of our client organisations.
The Opportunity
As CFO, you will be the organisation’s senior financial leader, responsible for:
Safeguarding financial sustainability and performance
Providing trusted advice to the Board and executive leaders
Strengthening governance, compliance and risk management
Enabling growth through strategy, insight and innovation
You will play a central role in financial strategic initiatives, including client growth and digital and systems transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and treasury
Lead robust financial planning and performance analysis
Ensure compliance with ASIC, ATO, ACNC and relevant aged care legislation
Manage audits, banking relationships and investment strategies
Implement strong internal controls, risk and governance frameworks
Act as Company Secretary, ensuring Board and statutory obligations are met
Build trusted relationships with funders, partners, auditors and regulators

About You
You are a commercially minded, values-driven finance leader who wants to make a difference in the for-purpose sector, who can operate strategically while remaining close to operational realities.
Essential experience includes:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (CPA required; MBA preferred)
10–15 years’ senior financial leadership experience
Deep knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC, ATO, ACNC) and company and employment law requirements
Strong Board-level reporting and advisory capability
Expertise in financial systems, controls, compliance and analytics
Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and long-term planning
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Desirable
Experience in aged care or similarly complex, highly regulated sectors
Familiarity with TechnologyOne
