This role can be based in either Perth or Brisbane.

More about the role

Provide high-quality, timely legal advice across multiple business units.

Manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines.

Review, negotiate and draft customer and supplier contracts in line with Toll’s preferred positions.

Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and the Global Legal Framework.

Partner closely with stakeholders to deeply understand operational requirements and risks in service-based industries.

Support legal strategy implementation led by Managing Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel.

Collaborate with fellow lawyers across the Australian Logistics legal team.

Contribute to group-wide legal projects.

Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory changes.

More about you Knowledge & Experience

Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.

Background in oil & gas, marine, mining, defence, or similar sectors — ideally supporting major corporates or government clients.

Experience with project and/or corporate documentation.

Confident in face-to-face negotiations.

Technical Skills

Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to juggle tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Strong stakeholder and relationship-building skills.

High emotional intelligence, empathy and collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Law degree.

Admitted legal practitioner with a current, unrestricted practising certificate in Australia.
