Responsibilities
Be a trusted business partner for your retailers by delivering year on year growth and proactively owning and growing your region.
Identify and deliver push sales activities for your assigned retailers.
Hold comprehensive business discussions with store franchisees and managers, incorporating market intelligence, category information, sales data and company marketing and promotional plans.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve planned growth results
Plan and develop all territory training activities including in-store product training for retail staff, customer events, etc.
Actively participate in the team. Providing regular reports, sharing feedback and practices.
Report on weekly sales activities and events, performance against brand and customer category targets, identifying any insights or opportunities through the company CRM and as required, attending meetings (online and in person).
Update CRM and other systems with accurate and timely customer data.
Take part in and if necessary, run promotions in co-ordination with the National Sales Manager, including Trade Nights, Trade Fairs and Trade Shows
Experience in B2B sales with a solution based selling method
A background in Account Management or Business Development (or equivalent)
Likely come from the building and construction industry or related industries, or work in an industrial sales environment with physical products
Have a passion for tools, technical and functional features and applications
A good grasp of numbers and how to engage with these to build growth solutions.
A systematic approach, with the ability to think quickly when needed
Be looking to further their career in sales and account management by creating opportunity and achieving consistent outcomes
Current driver’s licence is a must
