About the role
This position is based in Brisbane, and the successful candidate will be required to enter into a Flexible Work Arrangement reflecting Brisbane as their primary office location. While the role allows for flexibility in working from home, regular in-person attendance at the Brisbane office is a mandatory requirement.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
Deliver high‑quality legal services and authoritative advice to support the Adjudication Registry's statutory functions under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017.
Ensure accurate assessment, registration, allocation, and oversight of adjudicators and adjudication applications in line with legislative and policy requirements.
Lead continuous improvement by developing best‑practice policies, procedures, education initiatives, and supporting legislative change projects.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide exceptional customer service while leading, guiding, and developing adjudication officers to enhance capability across the Registry.

Mandatory Qualifications
Admitted as a Solicitor or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Holder of a current practicing certificate issued by the Queensland Law Society or Queensland Bar Association.
Fully compliant with all CPD requirements of the Queensland Law Society or Queensland Bar Association.
