About the Team Our Civil Team focuses on planning, managing and delivering engineering projects of a complex nature to meet client requirements and make a positive impact to the community. The team delivers value engineering solutions by creating concept designs with performance efficiencies and draws on market and industry connections to make things happen. We provide a range of services across Australia in multiple sectors, focusing on the development of safe, considered and innovative solutions to the most challenging problems encountered in the construction of projects. Our team pride themselves on working seamlessly with project stakeholders, ensuring no solution is developed in isolation and without consideration of the potential implications on other areas of the project.

About the Role Our Brisbane office is currently seeking to appoint a Principal Engineer - Civil with significant engineering design experience, strong communication skills and the desire to lead and mentor both local and nationally. This is a pivotal role with the Brisbane Civil team to support the successful delivery of complex high-risk projects, provide technical expertise, develop and mentor a team.

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia

Ideally 15+ years demonstrated experience in civil engineering

Demonstrated experience at a senior level with strong negotiation and leadership skills

Strong understanding of civil construction industry

An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs

Ability to critically assess, interpret and communicate information of a complex nature

Ability to develop and mentor staff
