Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Senior Signalling Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Guarantee the delivery of the signalling HW design for projects, including documentation of design, on schedule and budget

Ensure the setup of HW (including operating system installation, automated installation development, SW integration) and identifying and troubleshooting problems with both lab and production hardware

Executing detailed hardware design, including documents and drawings as well as input to development, integration, testing, and maintenance

Ensure the control of design documents in accordance with company processes

Responsible for leading reviews to detect design errors and ensure correction

Ensure the delivery of sub‑systems or SW configurations for medium & small signalling project schemes including the production and check of the configuration documents

Guarantee requirements, designing, and testing according to allocated project requirements

Guarantee input data, the configuration documents and .exe files are issued and controlled with company processes

Defining and executing the integration lab tests before handover of the executable files of the configured sub‑systems

Skills & Experience

Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree

More than 5 years of professional experience in Signalling HW design
