About the Company Elite Executive is proud to be partnering with the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility in the search for an experienced Senior Director People and Culture. NAIF is a development financier established by the Australian Government to provide financial support for economic infrastructure projects across northern Australia. NAIF plays a critical role in strengthening regional economies, supporting job creation and delivering lasting community impact.

About the Role Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director People and Culture provides strategic and operational leadership across People and Culture and Work Health and Safety. This is a senior leadership role working closely with the Executive Management Group and Board Committees to shape organisational capability, culture and performance. You will lead the full employee lifecycle, ensure strong governance and compliance, and embed a values led, inclusive and high performing workplace aligned to NAIF’s purpose and strategic direction.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a People and Culture and Safety strategy aligned with NAIF’s business plan and strategic priorities.

Lead all People and Culture and Work Health and Safety functions including recruitment, workforce planning, performance, remuneration, policies, systems and compliance.

Provide high quality strategic advice to the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Management Group and People and Remuneration Committee, including reporting on people, safety and organisational metrics.

Oversee workforce planning, succession planning and talent management to build long term organisational capability.

Lead and continuously improve WHS strategy, governance and reporting, ensuring risks are identified, controlled and managed effectively.
