to play a critical role in delivering safe, predictable and high‑quality technology releases across Adica’s core platforms. About the Role

Reporting to the Program Director, the Release Manager is accountable for planning, governing and executing technology releases across Adica’s technology landscape, with a strong focus on Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter) and associated integrations. This role is offered as a

12‑month fixed‑term contract . It is a hands‑on delivery and governance role that sits across projects and BAU, coordinating release calendars, environments, deployment activities and go/no‑go decisions. You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, operations, security, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure releases are compliant, well‑tested, traceable and business‑ready. In addition to day‑to‑day delivery, you’ll drive continuous improvement in release practices, tooling and automation, helping improve change success rates and reduce operational risk. What You’ll Be Responsible For

In this role, you will: Plan and govern enterprise‑wide releases across projects and BAU, maintaining a clear and coordinated release calendar. Run release readiness reviews, go/no‑go forums and post‑implementation reviews. Coordinate deployment activities, environment usage, code promotion and cut‑over planning across multiple teams. Manage and maintain deployment runbooks, back‑out plans and post‑release validation activities. Lead and coordinate releases across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter, including integrations. Ensure testing coverage, sign‑offs and non‑functional requirements (performance, security, operability) are evidenced prior to release. Monitor and report on release KPIs such as change success rates, failures and recovery times. Coordinate issue escalation, root cause analysis and lessons learned following failed or impaired releases. Partner closely with Program, PMO, Technology, QA, Security and vendor teams to ensure release readiness. Communicate release scope, timing, risks and business impacts clearly to stakeholders. Standardise release artefacts, templates and processes, and uplift release maturity through coaching and knowledge sharing. What You’ll Bring

You’ll bring strong release leadership experience, sound judgement and the ability to create clarity in complex delivery environments, including: 5+ years’ experience in Release Management, Change Management or delivery governance roles. Proven experience coordinating releases across Guidewire InsuranceSuite and complex integrated platforms. Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, Jenkins or similar. Strong understanding of change, risk and incident management within regulated environments. Experience planning and executing cut‑overs, back‑out strategies and post‑release validation for mission‑critical systems. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across cross‑functional teams. Experience in general insurance or financial services is highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in IT (or equivalent experience), familiarity with DevOps practices, ITIL v4 and exposure to Azure cloud environments are desirable. Why You\'ll Love Working at Adica
