This Project Finance position reports to the Melbourne GM and works closely with the Sydney office team to ensure the smoothness of all deals/projects and the good quality of client management.

Responsibilities

Playing an active role in the development and execution of the Bank’s Project Finance strategy

Leading execution and maintenance of complex Project Finance/PPP transactions and negotiations with clients and advisors

Preparing/reviewing credit applications and coordination throughout the approval process

Maintaining networks and identifying new deal opportunities, ensuring the Bank’s engagement in major deals in the market

Management of an existing Project Finance/PPP portfolio and relationship

Obey the team management, report regularly to department head as well as the branch policies and procedures

Periodical review of work progress and targets

Qualifications

Finance related tertiary degree qualified

5+ years of relevant experience in origination/execution of project finance transactions, exposure to infrastructure/PPP projects to be highly regarded

Track record in performing deal structuring/negotiation, due diligence and modelling, risk analysis and credit process, documentation, and post-lending management

Solid credit/risk analytical skills and experience in composing credit papers and dealing with Credit Risk teams

Superior interpersonal and presentation skills and exceptional stakeholder management experience

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Willingness to adapt into a new company culture
