A bit about the role
As Head of Remuneration and Payroll, you’ll lead a high‑performing team and set the strategic direction for remuneration and payroll services. Your work will ensure compliance, accuracy, and innovation while shaping policies and frameworks that attract, retain, and reward talent.
You’ll partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on remuneration, taxation, and superannuation, and drive automation and process improvements across People & Culture systems.
What you’ll deliver
Lead and inspire the payroll team to deliver exceptional service
Design and implement Casey’s remuneration framework aligned with strategy and compliance
Provide strategic advice on remuneration, benchmarking, and compliance
Drive automation and data integrity across systems
Prepare and monitor salary budgets, including FBT and associated costs
Champion Casey’s values and lead by example
What you’ll bring
Extensive experience in remuneration, payroll, and HR systems management
Strong knowledge of legislation, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks
Proven ability to design and implement remuneration strategies and reward programs and systems
Expertise in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Frontier or similar)
Degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field
Willingness to undergo pre‑employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, credit check and psychological assessment
