The Opportunity We're Hiring a Transformation Partner

Are you passionate about driving change, improving processes, and delivering projects?

We're looking for a specialist to join our team and help lead key initiatives across our organisation and the Moonee Valley Community.

Responsibilities

Manage the relationship between the key Application Owners across Council and the IT and Transformation department.

Manage and lead projects and business improvement initiatives.

Ensure that all Business Systems in use by Council are fit for purpose and if not, lead the work to decommission the existing application and implement its replacement.

Coordinate applications lifecycle phases from discovery, planning and justification, procuring, implementing, support and decommissioning.

Drive decisions and ownership of Council approved applications.

Provide guidance and or support to areas of Council to maximise workflow processes.

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in information technology, business or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or extensive demonstrated experience in project management and business analysis.

Experience in project management.

Experience with stakeholder and vendor management.

Experience in the development of business cases and to outline cost vs benefit.

Understanding of process mapping and or other continuous improvement tools.

Experience in Local Government (desirable).
