Deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasts. Provide actionable commercial insights to the business. Drive process improvements and financial best practices.

Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner who excels at turning data into actionable decisions. This role sits at the heart of Commercial Finance, owning reporting, refining forecasts, and partnering with leaders to enhance transparency and drive performance across the business.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to enhance transparency of business performance, deliver meaningful insights and strengthen forecasting and planning capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

Close with confidence: Deliver timely month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

Own the numbers: Lead bottom-up budgeting and forecasting aligned with business goals.

Explain performance: Monitor results against budget and forecast, providing clear, actionable insights.

Partner strategically: Work with senior leaders to highlight the metrics that matter.

Turn insight into action: Identify trends, uncover improvement opportunities, and support pricing & cost analysis with Sales, Operations, and support teams.

Go beyond reporting: Use BI tools (Power BI preferred) for predictive and real-time decision-making.

Drive improvement: Enhance processes and efficiency across finance and operations.

Set the standard: Champion best practices in financial governance and reporting.

Key Selection Criteria

Analytical & commercial mindset: Ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.

Process improvement expertise: Experience in automation, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.

Collaborative & organised: Builds strong cross‑functional relationships and manages priorities under pressure.

High‑quality reporting: Maintains rigorous standards with excellent verbal and written communication.

Accounting proficiency: Strong technical knowledge, including statutory compliance and relevant laws.

Systems savvy: ERP experience (SAP preferred) and BI tools (Power BI); intermediate to advanced Excel.

Qualified & credentialed: Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / CA (or progressing).

Adaptable & proactive: Self‑motivated and flexible in response to changing business needs.
