FPC (Forest Products Commission) is a Government Trading Entity that delivers timber products and services across three business segments – plantations, native forest and sandalwood. Our team engages with communities, industry and government to support a vibrant and sustainable forestry industry.

FPC owns and manages softwood plantations to support WA’s housing and construction industry. We are actively investing in the acquisition of new land and plantations to ensure future supply and assist in addressing the challenges of climate change.

FPC has transitioned its native forest business in alignment with the government’s changes in forest policy. This has resulted in a shift from commercial scale forest harvesting to the provision of services to the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions for forest health outcomes.

About the roles

We are seeking two experienced People and Culture practitioners to support our leaders and drive impactful organisational outcomes.

The Senior People and Culture Consultant will work closely with the Principal People and Culture Consultant to deliver high‑quality, practical people solutions. You will be a trusted advisor who can balance day‑to‑day operational needs with forward‑looking workforce initiatives. Your work will strengthen workforce capability through effective change management, contemporary policy development and the careful handling of sensitive people matters.

The Principal People and Culture Consultant is a senior specialist role suited to someone who excels in complex problem‑solving, strategic workforce initiatives and organisation‑wide influence. You will lead high‑impact projects and provide expert guidance on people strategy, organisational design and culture.

Across both roles, you will bring a blend of HR expertise,

business partnering capability and practical problem‑solving to a government organisation that operates a little differently. You will lead or contribute to organisation‑wide initiatives, policies, programs and projects that support the People Plan and broader corporate strategy. You will coach managers and guide members of the People and Culture team to embed best‑practice people management and drive strong business outcomes.
