At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we’re home to some of the world’s most iconic travel brands. We’re looking for a National Groups Sales Manager to own and grow our national Groups strategy, with a strong focus on identifying, pursuing and converting larger group travel opportunities across Australia.

This is a national, new-business-focused role for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening new conversations, and turning warm and cold leads into high-value group bookings. You’ll act as the subject matter expert for Groups, working across our Touring Brands portfolio to unlock new partnerships, grow passenger numbers and build long-term commercial relationships nationwide.

What you’ll be responsible for Driving growth & new group opportunities

Develop and execute national sales and marketing strategies to deliver Groups passenger and revenue targets

Proactively identify and pursue larger group booking opportunities across Australia, including education, special interest groups, clubs, associations and corporate-style group travel

Actively prospect and open new doors, building a strong national pipeline through outbound activity across trade and direct channels

Pitch, negotiate and convert group travel opportunities from initial contact through to booking

Identify and establish new national partnerships and distribution opportunities that drive long-term group growth

Collaborate with global Groups teams to align national strategy and identify emerging trends

Events, activations & representation

Plan and deliver events, activations and marketing initiatives that generate group leads and bookings nationally

Represent TTC at industry events, partner meetings and sales presentations across Australia

Act as a credible ambassador for TTC, delivering engaging presentations and training when required

Maintain a robust and accurate Salesforce pipeline with a strong focus on new business and national coverage

Provide regular reporting, insights and analysis to support commercial decision-making

Work closely with the GM Sales and Groups Manager Oceania on performance, pipeline health and strategic initiatives

About you

2+ years’ experience in travel or tourism sales, preferably focusing on groups.

Comfortable prospecting, chasing leads and converting new opportunities at a national level

Strong commercial understanding of customer segments and group buying behaviour

Experience balancing long-term national sales strategies with short-term revenue opportunities

Confident using Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint

Proven ability to build strong commercial relationships from scratch

Results-driven, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously

A confident communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders across multiple regions
