We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Group Financial Controller in Unley, South Australia. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will play a key role in enabling the finance team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration.
The Group Financial Controller is a critical leadership role accountable for upholding financial integrity and optimising financial performance across LMS Energy. Responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial control, management reporting, annual budgets, monthly results, and end-to-end tax planning and compliance, this role ensures strong governance while providing strategic insight to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
Lead and support the finance function by providing coaching, mentoring and professional guidance to team members
Manage delivery of the annual budget, including development of the delivery plan and effective communication to key internal stakeholders
Provide insightful and well-considered monthly management reports with supporting commentary
Support the delivery of major projects as the finance representative/business partner in working groups
Undertake an efficient and effective annual audit process including the timely completion of annual financial statements
Support all aspects of financial control including the provision of month end reconciliation
Ensure all reporting deadlines to JV partners are satisfied as outlined in Shareholder Agreements
Present to JV boards on finance related matters
Ensure compliance with all tax reporting obligations across all jurisdictions (Australia, NZ and USA)
Requirements
A Bachelor of Finance or Commerce Degree
CA or CPA qualification
Minimum 5-years’ experience in senior finance roles
Proven experience in leading a finance team
Australian Driver’s License
