Marketing Lead (Marketing Specialist). This is a full-time, on-site role in our Fitzroy Office. The Marketing Lead’s duty is to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy across all platforms and channels to create maximum brand awareness, increase market share, generate leads and drive online sales. Must be able to reliably commute to Fitzroy. Salary and Benefits

Perform ongoing competitive research to identify new opportunities, grow brand awareness, website traffic and gain market share. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to optimise ROI. Track and analyse website traffic, PPC campaigns and social media performance. Create and maintain reporting. Conduct A/B split testing. Update and maintain WordPress website, landing pages and blogs. Reduce the risk of fraud and security breaches. Keep up to date with new marketing trends and industry developments, algorithm updates and changes. SEO

Audit and analyse SEO performance to develop and implement optimisation strategies to increase ranking in organic search results and drive organic traffic. Conduct competitive research and analysis. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation for use on the website, blogs and other channels. Develop link-building strategy and build backlinks through outreach. Write and publish high-quality, SEO-optimised copy for backlinks, guest posts and blog articles. Implement and maintain structured data, sitemaps and metadata. Recommend and implement changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions and conversion/user experience. Keep up to date with search engine algorithm updates. PPC

Set up, launch and optimise the performance of paid advertising campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other channels. Develop ad creatives as required. Write effective, direct-response ad copy that sells. Manage and optimise landing pages. Social Media & Content

Create and schedule compelling original content to engage United Co’s audience across blogs, advertising and social media within brand guidelines. Grow United Co.’s social media presence and following. Monitor and respond to reviews, comments and tags on social media. Analyse industry and market trends on social media. Identify trending topics and hashtags relevant to United Co’s audience. Collaborate with the Community Manager to capture photo and video content Identify opportunities for collaboration with United Co. members and local brands. Write, create and schedule regular newsletters. Experience and Qualifications
