The Preschool
KU Fox Valley Preschool , is a 30 place preschool located in
Wahroonga . The service prides themselves on creating a quality learning environment and promoting a strong sense of belonging within the local community. The Service is adjacent to a bush reserve which presents opportunities for the children to explore and traverse our large playground and to be at one with nature.

Opportunity to join us as a Preschool Director to innovate, inspire, motivate and lead a dedicated team. You will bring your sound pedagogical knowledge, experience of developing and maintaining relationships with children and families, rostering, mentoring, daily routines, policy implementation whilst building a harmonious working environment.
This role will be split teaching on the floor 5 days and 5 days a fortnight dedicated to administration duties. You will have support of a dedicated and experienced service administrator as well as the Education and Quality team, Education Support Manager, child Wellbeing team, Learning and Development facilitator and wider support services available across the organisation.
This opportunity will see you join 7.6 hours, Monday-Friday during term time, inclusive of paid breaks, you will receive a generous director’s allowance in addition to sector leading payrates.
Having an interest in nature and sustainability would be advantageous to ensure upkeep of the veggie garden and native beehive nesting boxes as well as leading regular bushwalking with local community groups.

Of course, you will need:
A current NSW Working with Children Check
A completed ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree and proficient NESA Accreditation
Demonstrated Leadership Experience with a minimum of 2 years management experience
Assessment and Rating Experience
Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma andAnaphylaxis Management certificates
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
