TMF Group is expanding its Corporate Trust capability in Australia following recent acquisition activity, and we are seeking a senior fiduciary leader to build, lead and scale our Corporate Trusts function nationally. This role could be based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers hybrid working.
About TMF Group
TMF Group is a leading global provider of high‑value business services to clients operating and investing globally. We focus on providing specialized and business‑critical financial and administrative services that enable our clients to operate their corporate structures, finance vehicles, and investment funds in different geographical locations.
More about this role
This is a rare opportunity to step into a mandate with full senior executive backing, owning a high‑value book of business while shaping the strategic direction, governance framework and growth agenda for the trustee offering across Australia.
Responsibilities
Provide fiduciary oversight across TMF’s Corporate Trust offering, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal and governance frameworks.
Act as (or become) the AFSL Responsible Manager for Corporate Trusts.
Lead client onboarding, transaction review, documentation sign‑off and MIS/RE governance.
Partner with senior executives to activate global and domestic distribution channels.
Build and lead a national team, establishing the right model, controls and processes.
Identify and execute growth opportunities, including product expansion and M&A.
Represent TMF with clients, regulators, advisers and counterparties.
About you
Senior experience in Corporate Trustee, Responsible Entity, Securitisation, Debt Capital Markets, or Wholesale MIS governance.
Strong knowledge of trust deeds, constitutions, custody agreements and regulatory obligations.
Eligible to act as AFSL Responsible Manager (or able to meet criteria).
Proven ability to lead, influence and operate at executive level.
Commercially minded with experience growing a portfolio or business line.
Comfortable in a build‑and‑scale environment with high autonomy.
What's in it for you
You will build and lead a Corporate Trust function, defining operating models, managing regulatory obligations and shaping the commercial strategy.
You will have the autonomy and influence to set direction, grow the team and drive both organic and inorganic opportunities.
As a Senior Director at TMF Group, you’ll be joining a global business built on ambition, expertise, and partnership — a place where senior commercial leaders shape strategy and influence growth across borders.
You’ll join a culture built on feedback, collaboration, and accountability, with direct access to senior leaders and cross‑functional regional teams
If you're looking for a strategic leadership role with genuine ownership, a high‑value book, and the mandate to build something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
