About the role
This opportunity involves providing clinical leadership and specialist psychiatric care within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in the Brisbane region. The role combines high-quality inpatient and community-based care with a strong focus on integrated, person-centred, and recovery-oriented service delivery for children, adolescents, and their families.
Working within an established multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development while being supported through high-quality supervision, peer review, and professional development opportunities. The position includes admitting, diagnostic, consultative, outpatient, and on-call responsibilities, as well as collaboration with government and community organisations to support sustainable, recovery-focused care.
About the location
The Brisbane region is rapidly becoming one of Australia’s most desirable places to live, supported by strong property growth and continued momentum forecast through 2026. With Brisbane set to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the city is undergoing a multi-billion-dollar transformation, including major upgrades to transport, infrastructure, housing, and health services - making now an ideal time to secure your place in this growing Olympic corridor.
Central Brisbane offers an exceptional lifestyle, combining leafy parklands, riverside dining, and a vibrant arts scene with world-class amenities and leading schools and universities. Green, spacious suburbs close to the CBD and coast provide a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere, while an expanding café culture, shopping precincts, and recreational facilities continue to attract families and professionals seeking a balanced, high-quality lifestyle.
