Myer is seeking an inspiring and commercially driven
Head of Beauty
to lead the end‑to‑end Beauty category strategy and elevate our position as Australia’s leading beauty destination. This pivotal role drives brand growth, customer relevance and commercial performance across stores and digital channels, while leading a high‑performing team and partnering with some of the world’s most influential beauty brands.
Reporting to the GMM - Beauty, you will define and execute the long‑term Beauty strategy, manage the brand portfolio, and deliver strong financial outcomes. You will shape the customer experience, drive innovation, and build deep strategic partnerships that strengthen Myer’s market leadership in Beauty.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Beauty category strategy and brand portfolio, managing brand acquisitions, onboarding/exits, and building senior partnerships while identifying new growth opportunities
Translate market insights into action and drive trading performance across sales, profit and stock
Oversee product strategy, brand performance and end‑to‑end execution across stores and online, including marketing, VM and brand presence
Partner across the business to elevate the Beauty customer experience and drive innovation in discovery, education and in‑store execution
Own financial performance across sales, GP and stock, leading forecasting, trading cadence and commercial negotiations
Build strong supplier relationships that drive innovation and exclusivity, ensuring alignment with marketing and communication strategies
Lead and develop a high‑performing Beauty buying team, strengthening commercial capability, negotiation skill and cross‑functional influence
Drive continuous improvement and process simplification while representing Myer with confidence and professionalism in all senior stakeholder and supplier negotiations
About You
Significant experience in senior merchandise leadership roles within a complex retail environment; Beauty experience strongly preferred.
Strong commercial track record delivering sales, GP and category KPIs.
Advanced supplier management and negotiation capability with branded partners.
Strong financial and retail acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and trading leadership.
Deep understanding of market trends, customer behaviour and the competitive landscape.
Ability to influence at senior and executive levels.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Marketing, Retail or Business (preferred but not essential).
