We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Team and to also lead our IT strategy. This vital role will provide strategic direction, oversee financial operations, advance technology, and play a key part in shaping the future of our growing organisation.

About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead and mentor a skilled finance and IT team, ensuring best practice processes are implemented across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive financial strategy, capital management, and liquidity oversight

Lead technology governance, information security, and data management

Manage risk, compliance, and governance frameworks across Finance and IT

Provide strategic leadership to a team of 8, fostering capability and succession

Represent SCCU on Executive and Risk Management Committees

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Drive operational efficiency and support business growth initiatives

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organisational goals

Oversee financial reporting, planning, and analysis

What You’ll Bring

10+ years’ senior leadership experience in Finance within financial services or banking

Proven ability to lead Finance and IT functions in a regulated environment

Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical capability, and change leadership skills

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication at Board and Executive level

Relevant tertiary qualifications and CPA or CAANZ membership
