CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

ABOUT THE COMPANY Our valued client is an integral part of the community across the northern suburbs of Melbourne, supporting adults with disabilities for over 60 years in a caring, compassionate, and high‑quality manner.

ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the CEO, the COO is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team providing strategic leadership across the business operations, with oversight of financial management, Information Technology, NDIS planning & billing functions, property & fleet management, and risk management.

KEY DUTIES

Financial stewardship & sustainable resource management

Information and Technology Leadership

NDIS planning and service oversight

Asset and infrastructure management.

Organisational safety, integrity, and risk leadership.

Operational excellence and performance leadership.

Strategic change leadership & innovation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have significant operational leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector.

Strong understanding of the NDIS, compliance requirements, and sector challenges.

Proven ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans.

Strong financial and resource management skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.

Experience leading large, diverse teams in a complex environment.
