The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Consulting Services with a strong engineering background and years of proven experience leading large, high-complexity Kaizen and Lean transformation initiatives. This senior role requires a seasoned leader with a demonstrated ability to manage major client programs, oversee substantial budgets, and guide multifunctional teams across diverse, dynamic environments.
What You'll Do
As a key memberof our team, you will be responsible for driving high-impact operational improvement projects, expanding long-standing client partnerships, and ensuring the strategic, technical, and financial success of our consulting engagements. This position is suited to individuals who have consistently operated at a high level in consulting, with a track record of influencing executive stakeholders and delivering measurable organizational results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale, high-complexity Kaizen and Lean improvement programs aligned with client strategic goals.
Oversee project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery.
Drive business development efforts by expanding existing client relationships and identifying new engagement opportunities.
Provide leadership to large, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Generate and implementnew ideas that contribute to business growth and operational excellence.
Build and maintainstrong relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Define comprehensive scopes and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical and operational feasibility.
Closely monitor project performance and deliver detailed progress updates to internal and externalstakeholders.
Uphold the company’s standards for quality assurance across all project activities.
Contribute to achieving company revenue and growth targets.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated success managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects and overseeing significant budgets.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and executive decision-making abilities.
Proven experience delivering results and expanding long-term client relationships.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced interpersonal and team leadership skills, with experience guiding large teams.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
At least 10 years of Kaizen workshop's experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Kaizen methodologies.
Experience visiting Japan to observe the implementation of continuous improvement at its original source.
Hands-on improvement experience across all five continents.
