Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity available for aChief Procurement Officer inourCorporate Services Division.
This position leads the development and oversight of procurement and contract management frameworks, ensuring compliance with Insurance Commission guidelines. Provides strategic and technical expertise to support effective, value-driven procurement outcomes, while fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder partnerships.
The Insurance Commission will offer a five-year contract with a competitive executive remuneration package to attract an outstanding candidate.
The Person
You will have the capability to:
Lead procurement and contract management functions in a complex organisational environment;
Provide advice at a senior level on both strategic and operational procurement and contract management matters;
Assess complex procurement and contract issues, identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies that support value for money and business outcomes;
Develop and implement procurement strategies, managing high-risk contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards.
You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.
