Credit Officer

Love balancing numbers, reducing risk and building great relationships? Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Credit Officer to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in keeping cash flow strong and our customers supported.

This is an end-to-end credit role where you'll take ownership of accounts, proactively manage aged debt, and work closely with stakeholders to hit DSO and cash collection targets - all while keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Proactively managing outstanding debts and following up 30+ day balances

Conducting credit assessments, onboarding new customers and maintaining master data

Reviewing order holds and credit limits to balance risk with commercial outcomes

Reconciling accounts, allocating payments and supporting cash flow projections

Driving overdue debt reduction and achieving collection targets

Partnering with Sales, Customer Service, Production and Finance to keep things moving

What You Bring

Experience in Credit or Accounts Receivable

Strong credit risk and debt collection knowledge

Solid Excel and AR systems capability

Confident communication and negotiation skills

Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment

FMCG or Manufacturing experience (highly regarded)
