3 months initial contract with strong likelihood for extension Adelaide Based Position We are seeking a Data Architect to work on the implementation of data governance frameworks, and provide support leveraging Microsoft Data stacks. Context

The team is currently in conjunction with consultants undertaking two key initiatives to develop: Data Standards and Design Principles Data Governance & Quality Framework The resource will play an active role in embedding and supporting these initiatives across the organisation. Responsibilities

Support the rollout of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Assist in defining and documenting data ownership, stewardship, and quality processes. Contribute to the development of metadata management and data cataloguing practices. Provide technical guidance and design for data solutions including schemas & data models using Microsoft technologies (e.g. Azure Data Services, Power BI, SQL Server, Fabric, Purview). Assist in integratiing governance practices into data platforms and workflows. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. Identify critical data assets and dependencies to support governance and architecture decisions. Ensure data lineage and flow documentation aligns with compliance and security requirements.
