What's the role again?

You'll be a Design Lead, an Associate or Principal Civil Engineer, working on land development projects

We need you to work on strategic master-planning work, figure out drainage and bulk-earth work strategies with clients and direct the team to deliver on that plan.

You'll jump in yourself and keep up billable hours.

You'll meet with clients, be happy to share your problem-solving ideas.

You'll up-skill the team. You'll review and QA their work.

Is this role suited to me? If you're at the top end of a Senior Design role now or if you're doing the same role in land development now, then yes. If you're 5 years' in to design, it's not likely you're ready for this one yet. This role needs someone with 10-20 years' experience in residential subdivision design and someone who can

succinctly communicate

with the team, with clients, someone who enjoys a chat.

Here are some key-word tick boxes for you (if you're that way inclined):

DAS Accreditations in both sewer and water

Civil Engineering degree (plus NER)

Key experience as noted above

Melbourne based experience - you know who works at which council

How much is on offer? This depends on your experience and ability to interview really well! It is likely we will pay between $160k and $200k p/a plus Super.
