Quality Manager

to join their dynamic project delivery environment. The role focuses on ensuring construction quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulations. This role acts as the client’s on-site representative, safeguarding project integrity, minimizing defects, and ensuring value for money through rigorous inspection and reporting. You’ll be responsible for conducting daily site inspections, monitoring construction quality, verifying compliance with relevant codes and the clients policies, and promoting health, safety, and environmental standards. Candidates will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of construction inspection processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. You will need excellent stakeholder engagement skills, strong communication, and a commitment to delivering high standards of integrity and project success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards • Monitoring quality of workmanship and materials, ensuring adherence to standards • Ensuring construction methods align with best practices and industry standards • Verifying compliance with relevant building codes, statutory regulations, and policies • Promoting WHS legislation and the clients safety protocols on-site • Identifying and documenting construction defects or poor workmanship • Maintaining detailed daily reports on site activities, inspections, and issues • Building strong working relationships with contractors, subcontractors, site managers, and stakeholders • Reviewing construction drawings and technical documents to ensure clarity and feasibility • Anticipating potential issues and coordinating inspections with critical milestones Qualifications and Requirements: • Minimum accredited/licensed building trade qualification • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in building construction, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance • Strong knowledge of building materials, components, and construction methods • Proven track record in site inspection, defect identification, and construction oversight • Familiarity with regulatory and code compliance requirements • Excellent observational, analytical, and reporting skills • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications • Sound understanding of WHS legislation and practices • Experience on major technical or complex construction buildings with complex services If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click “Apply” to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day via email on jacob.montague-day@amida-recruit.com.au or Sam Barnes via email on sam.barnes@amida-recruit.com.au for further information.
