95,000 - 112,000 plus KPI bonuses and ECEC grant.

AMIGA Montessori is a Victorian-based, family-owned, and values-driven organisation providing quality education and care for children aged six weeks to six years in large, purpose-built centres. Our programme is grounded in the Montessori pillars and aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), ensuring a holistic, child-centred educational approach.
About the Role
AMIGA Montessori Saltwater Coast is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our team, drive high-quality practice, and build a strong, connected centre community. This role is suited to a confident leader who wants to focus on people, pedagogy, and performance—supported by hands‑on leadership, clear systems, and a head office team that is genuinely present in centres.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high-performing team in line with AMIGA values
Drive strong occupancy, utilisation, and financial performance
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
Build meaningful relationships with families and the local community
Support high-quality educational practice and continuous improvement
Coach, mentor and develop future leaders within your team
Role Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education
Strong experience in roster management, utilisation, and budgets
Working knowledge of CCS, ACCS, ISS, KIMS, and NQA ITS
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and legislation
Proven leadership, performance management, and people development skills
Exceptional communication and relationship-building ability
Highly Desirable
Montessori experience or qualifications
